The iPhone 6s was launched in September 2015 and there have been some vast improvements from the previous version of the iPhone. The touch screen has a display of 4.70-inch and the pixel is 750×1334 with the PPI of 326 pixel per inch.
iPhone 6s is powered by a A9 processor and the RAM is of 2GB. There is 16 GB expandable memory and the primary camera is of 12 megapixels and the secondary camera is of 5 megapixels. iPhone 6s is a single SIM (GSM) smart phone which accepts Nano-SIM. The phone is equipped with flash and operating system is iOS9.
Live Photos – This feature enables the phone to capture a few seconds of video on either side of the photo being clicked. Audio recording is also available in live photos.
Skip To App Action – In case you do not want to upload an app and want the function directly, then press down hard on the icon of the app and you will get a function menu. For now, most of the apps with this facility are from Apple.
Peek And Pop – Through the Peek and Pop function, one can press down on the web or email link and look at the content. Swipe up to get menus like Copy with a website link, Add to Reading List, Open Link and release it to go back where you were. In case you want to read the full message, just Pop In.
Trackpad To Select Text – It is sometimes difficult to move a cursur when typing a message. You can use 3D Touch to press on the keyboard to make it into a trackpad. Then drag the cursor where you want, to edit the messages.
Siri – A very interesting feature in the new iPhone 6s is Siri. You just have to say “Hey Siri” even if the screen is off or the phone is locked. This is set up when the phone is set up for the first time, though it can be accessed in Settings > General > Siri. “Hey Siri” is easily toggled on and off. Siri will respond to your voice and you will have to say “Hey Siri” three times and then ask questions.
Other than the latest features, there are standard Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi.
